Solo project by Andrew Newth (electronic keyboards), formerly of Love and Violence and FALLen. He released the tracks Ska Tribe on Green Eggs and Hamilton (1997), Gothic on Year Zero (2001) and the Trip on Zeropointone (2002). Closer was included on the first Indie Hit Disc released by NZ On Air in 1997, and the track received extensive airplay across the b-net stations. Subsequently, Ska tribe appeared on NZ on Air Indie Hit Disc 6 in 1998. Greg Page made the elaborate looping video for Closer. The song Ska Tribe (DB Mix) appeared on the 2020 compilation In Thrust We Trust.
