Echoes

Echoes were a rock/funk group formed in 1982, featuring Mark Rimmington (vocals), Murray Ferguson (guitar), Phil Walsh (bass) and Jeff Downey (drums), who released one single, Places, in 1984. The band played the song on music program Shazam in 1984, and appeared on the program again in November 1985 playing What's Your Problem Tonight. Rimmington went on to star in Rocky horror picture show with Sir Rob Muldoon and Russell Crowe. Downey played for The Politicians from 1984-1990, and for The Mods at their 1994 30th anniversary concert.
