I discovered the Tron music scene through [[The Fridge]] compilation, and a gig by Wendyhouse in 1995 in Ōtepoti, where I was living at the time. I lived at Meme Drive with [[Martin Webclaw]] of [[Wendyhouse]] for a couple of years at the end of the 90s, during which time I got to know a few of the other folks mentioned on this wiki (including [[Spider Monk EE]], [[Snake Beings]], and [[Gary Clarkson]]), and played drums on a Mongolian BBQ track (credited as Vommit). I've also played thrice with the [[Kaosphere Orchestra]], for shows in Dunedin, Hamilton, and Wellington, playing junk percussion or hand drum.

In the early 2000s, I lived in the Tron for another couple of years, where I got to know Odee of [[Rose Petals and Confetti]]. Scott C of [http://www.muzic.net.nz/artists/1443/carnage Carnage] is an old friend who moved to the Tron after I did and after moving away a couple of times, seems to be settled there for the duration. Through him, I met folks from a bunch of other local metal and hard rock bands, the names of which escape me right now, but I'm keen to get hold of Scott and talk about old times anyway, so ...
