The Nightmares were a Hamilton band that formed in the early 1990s. The band included Julian Baddie (bass), Phil Wright (vocals, guitar) and Dane Bailey (drums). All three went on to Ruin and Masochrist. They had the song Divine Bullshit, Made to Wreck included on the compilation They Came from out of Nowhere.
An unrelated Hamilton grindcore band, active since 2007, is also using this name.
