Flinch were a band from St Paul's Collegiate, who won the Waikato Regional Final of Rockquest in 1998 ahead of Handsome Geoffrey and The Grinners. The band featured guitarist Adam Nooyen. The band apparently played a number of local shows and produced a CD. Nooyen's brothers, Kristian Nooyen and Jacob Nooyen were both in 1994 Waikato Regional Rockquest winning No Thrills.
