No Thrills

No Thrills were a band from St Johns College who won the regional Rockquest competition, and went on to represent Hamilton at the national 1994 Smokefree Rockquest final. The band included Kristian Nooyen and Jacob Nooyen. They used the imagery of the No Frills brand in their promotional material, but were described by Rip it Up as "Supergroove wanabees". Performances by the band included the Mountain Rock Festival, Strawberry Fields Festival and Sweetwaters.
