Ceolskog is the folk metal project of Adam Helliwell. He came up with the name by combining the word Ceol, a Gaelic word meaning music, with skog, which means forest in Norwegian and Swedish. After his previous band, IronStein, ended in early 2015, Adam started Ceolskog as a way of recording songs he had written, and then uploading them to his YouTube page as nature-themed music videos.
