Formed around 1990, A Crown of Wild Myrtles was made up of Paul Tregilgas (drums), Megan Pringle (guitar and vocals), John Paul Oliver (guitars and vocals) and Chris Barnett (bass). The band was apparently named after the HE Bates novel, A Crown of Wild Myrtle. They released one cassette titled Incubator Babies in 1991, and also had the track Underbelly featured on Discordia Concors.
