Dave Calder was a founding member of the Hamilton County Bluegrass Band, being in the band from 1967 to c.1972, and again since reformation since 1994. He also released songs with his (then) wife Panda Calder as Dave and Panda, including the 1969 album Come in Stranger and Temptation single. As a guitar teacher, he taught Chris Thompson.
