Yokel Ono were a two-piece band featuring Thom Burton (guitar, vocals) and Glen Johnson (drums). They formed in Hamilton in 2000, but relocated to Auckland. They have toured New Zealand and Australia, but occasionally returned to play Hamilton (e.g., at Circle Jerk 2006 and A Low Hum 2006). The band ceased playing in 2007, but had a one-off gig in June 2008 to release an EP, So Many Enemies.
