One of Hamilton's earliest serious hip-hop crews, REAL (short for "Rappers Explore Authentic Lyrics) were formed in 1993 from members of Black and White Time. One member was Brett Wagner, otherwise known as Omega B, who hosted the Hip Hop Impact show on Contact 89FM in the mid-1990's and went onto 4 Corners.
