Penelope The, formerly "Beatrix", is a three-piece indie rock group with blues and grunge influences. Formed in late 2009, the members are Emerald Rose (also of The Prime Numbers; guitar and vocals), Stephen Daniell (ex - Kingshifta, Aussie band Embassy; bass), and Jared Dobbs (ex-Bare Knuckle Brawl, Batstorm Murders; drums). Was the runner up in the Band Experiments 2010 final. The band released a four song download only EP titled The Fridge Sessions in January 2011.
