"Suburban Jazz band" Hand of Glory released one ten track, self titled, tape in 1991 (Orange Recordings 007). The band was Sean Lynch (trumpet), Peter Caldwell (acoustic guitar), Martin Fisher (acoustic guitar), Gilliam Boyd (bass guitar), Alec Forbes (percussion) and Kent Ericksen (drums). They had the track Thing One featured on Discordia Concors, three "live-to-air" tracks on the Inside the Wireless compilation, and 16 Tonnes on The Fridge.

Kent Ericksen writes, 'someone in the audience before the show asked, "Do you guys play dixieland"?, I said, "not really." Towards the end of that show we performed John Cage's piece 4'33". This is still one of the most exhilarating moments of my musical life.
