Mainstream hard rock band Blackjack included Paul Martin (guitar), Gavin Dempsey (vocals) and Pete Westbury (drums; formerly of Nod and Sticky Filth). They released singles including Spinning Wheel and Key to the Shade in 1994, and had a popular album, Kicasso d'Muse, released in 1995 on Hark Records. Gavin left soon after release, replaced by Kerry LeLievre.
