A recent arrival on the Hamilton music scene, Arron Stewart emerged in December 2007 as The Bathtub Sophist, a Hamilton-based alternative/electronic artist working in various eclectic styles. Arron is also a founding member, primary songwriter and lead guitarist for Hamilton 'good-time' Garage Rock/Punk Band Sumo Love Machine. His work as the The Bathtub Sophist, and in Sumo Love Machine, are his first musical ventures, with no previous experience or training in music to note.
In 2009, Arron also signed an exclusive production contract with Auckland-Based Publishers 'Woodcut Productions' joining their roster of production talent.
