Aquarium featured Dean Howie (bass), Blair Gernhoefer (guitar), Ian Sherriff (vocals) and Troy Matheson (drums). Initially forming in Te Puke, the band moved en masse to Hamilton in 1994. They released the tracks Wake up, One Day Cancer and Yesterday's Flavour on a limited edition The Glen EP 7", and released the track Dispatch on The Fridge.
Sherriff and Gernhoefer later played in a band tgether in the mid-2000s called Shimm, who were based in Auckland.
