It has played host to Hamilton bands that can pull larger audiences, including The Datsuns, 48May and Katchafire, and has also hosted events such as the Band Experiments (2002), Battle of the Bands (2004), World Battle of the Bands (Hamilton) (2004) and the final MSU gig in 2008. More commonly the venue hosts popular New Zealand bands from elsewhere, including Elemeno P, Shihad, Goodshirt, Goldenhorse, Evermore, Zed and the Feelers.
