Phum Viphurit (a.k.a. Viphurit Siritip; b. 16 August 1995) is a Thai born, Hamilton raised indie-pop singer/songwriter, now resident in Bangkok. Phum lived in Hamilton between the ages of 6 and 18, where he attended Hillcrest High School. Following this time, he returned to Bangkok to attend film school.
Viphurit's interest in making music began when he moved to New Zealand, though his major successes have occurred since returning to Thailand. He released his debut album Manchild in 2017. His video for the song 'Loverboy', released in 2018, has over 45 million views on Youtube. He has performed in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Europe and the United States. Phum is signed to Thai label Rats Records.
