The Simpletons

The Simpletons formed in 1988, and included Kent Ericksen, Martin Fisher and Peter Caldwell. The band contributed the track Rain to the Surf Music compilation in 1989. Significant gigs included A Potentially Explosive Situation in 1989, and the band toured with the help of the NZ Students Arts Council and the InterIsland Line. The band eventually evolved into Freak Brothers and Hand of Glory.
