The 2013 Waikato Music Expo was part of the 2013 Waikato Show, held on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 April, at the Claudelands Conference Room. Unlike the previous year, it included a concert on Saturday night. It is organised by Scott Ratuki, Nick Johnston and Lauren K. Bell of the Hamilton Live Music Trust.

  • 12.30pm: Q&A session with music industry guest speakers with NZ On Air, NZ Music Commission (C.E Cath Andersen), APRA and PPNZ. Topics discussed were NZOA “Making Tracks” funding, Music industry advice, NZ Music Commission funding and music licensing.
