Us-Holes was a duo consisting of Shawn Rolton (aka Shawn Porn) and Simon Howie, with the two of them trading instruments. Their existence was short-lived, lasting only a matter of months over 1995.

Both Rolton and Howie had shared time in a number of nameless high school bands with Dean Brown and Richard Whyte, members of Negative EH, plus various other members.

The Us-Holes’ sole live appearance was at a high school assembly at Fairfield College, where Rolton was a student, and their only recorded document was the “Make Funny Noises” cassette, released on Plop Recordings.

The name of the band was a tribute to MiButt, another Plop Recordings act, that contained Howie’s sister, Tamara, who had earlier passed away.
