The Red Shift Was a Band formed after Daredevil broke up in 2001-2002 with Mark Newbold (Bass) Ex: Shinkasta, Daredevil, Vargas And Evil Priest. and Mark Seeney (drums) ex: Arkane, Daredevil, Evil Priest & Misled by Lies and with Auckland Heavy weight Duncan "pepe" Long on Guitar and Simon Bartlett on vocals

a Very Chaotic Hardcore band with fills and stabs not for the faint hearted

the most memorable song people remember at these Hamilton and Auckland show was a Cover of Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart (seen on link below)

The Red Shift were a force in the mid 2000s but disbanded soon after
