Robert Smith

Robert Smith played in a series of Hamilton bands from the mid- to late-1970s; Trident (1976), Deep Image (1977), Ice (1978-1979) and Young Lust (1979). In 1980 he formed his most successful band, The Bronx. He left this band in late 1982, but they remained playing after his departure. He left Hamilton in 1985 for New Plymouth, initially forming The Candles, follwed by a string of other bands and solo recordings.
