Raiza Biza was a Hamilton based MC, producing jazz influenced hip hop. Biza was born in Rwanda, moving to Zaire, then Zambia, before spending much of his childhood in Johannesburg, South Africa. He moved to New Zealand at the age of 14, first to Gisborne, and then to Hamilton, where he attended Hillcrest High School. He moved to Wellington after leaving school, but returned to Hamilton for a time. Since 2015 he has been based in Auckland. He has released five albums.
