Popstrangers were formed in Auckland in 2009, and feature Joel Flyger (ex-Braxton Hicks) and Adam Page (ex-Sunny Tokyo and The Lookie Loos). They supported MGMT and Crocodiles on their New Zealand tours. Since 2013 they have been based in London, and have played gigs in North America and Europe.
