Penny was an announcer on UFM from 1999-2001, and was Programme Director there from 2000-2001. Guitarist in Pieces of Arse, a Hamilton all-girl rock group inspired by Dolf de Borst (Trucker/Trinket/The Datsuns/The Hellhole Bitches).
Penny fell in love with Dolf's brother Igor, and moved to Wellington in 2003. They've since married and live a happy suburban life. Sometimes Penny wonders how she made it through those heady days of the millenium, and longs for the taste of cheap cask red wine.
