Future City Festival is an event run by Hamilton Underground Press, organised by Rob Shirlow. The first event was held on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 March 2017, and the second on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 March 2018. In the first installment, bands played at Nivara Lounge and Creative Waikato. In the second, the same venues were used on the Friday night, but in Nivara Lounge and The Meteor on Saturday.
