The Funky Monkeys are a band who perform music for children, aged between 2 and 8, who formed in 2003. In 2008 the members quit their day jobs to become the only full-time touring band for kids in New Zealand. In 2007 their music video for their song about manners, The Thank You Song, won the APRA Children’s Music Award for 'Best Children’s Music Video' in an online voting competition run in partnership with the children’s television program ‘What Now?’.
