[[Rob Smith]]'s solo project.  The eponymously titled first album was mostly an experimental bedroom production and featured 15 songs, recorded in 2003 with [[Roz]] Case providing vocals on several of the tracks. Next release was 'Seasickness on Land', largely an ambient guitar album with exotic tunings. 'The Happy Files' was recorded in Wellington during 2004-2005, and features more vocals and acoustic guitar from Rob as well as radio samples and random noises (including a vibrator among other things). Jane Pierard plays cello on two tracks. Rob has recently finished an EP 'Yellow Belly' and is working on another entitled 'The Grisly Folk'. The next full length, 'Night of Unbroken Sleep', is due to be finished late 2006-early 2007. Cosimo is distributed by Analogue Wings Records.
