Aum pride themselves on their distinct sound, from intensely Ambient works, to chilled out Downbeat, through to a range of Dubstep, Drum & Bass, and Jungle flavors.

Over the past few years, Aum have dedicated themselves to creating works that are not only enjoyed on the dance floor, but equally at home.

Originating from the Waikato in New Zealand, Jeremy Graham & Darryl Turner, have both been steady musicians throughout the majority of their lives. Meeting whilst studying for mutual Music Production qualifications around 2005/06, the two quickly began making music together, firstly playing Electric & Bass Guitars in a Psychedelic Dub band in 2006, it was not until a 2 year hiatus that the duo were to pick up where they left off and transcend their new found musicianship within the broad genre of Electronic music. Aums first inception as an independent artist began in early 2008 with a handful of underground gigs in Hamilton city. Their live shows evolved over the next year, now consisting of DJ sets, Live Electronic Performances, or a mix of both, showcasing not only their studio talents but also their musicianship and ability to progress their performances and sound. It wasn't until the release of their late 2009 Debut LP 'Aletheia' that the Aum sound was to have a clear direction. Since this first official self release, Aum have set out to establish themselves amongst the growing worldwide Electronic Dance scene releasing a handful of tracks including Ambient/Downbeat EP 'Happiness', Dubstep singles 'Corruption', 'Music=Violence', and 3 Phase (He-3) [Dub War Recordings - Oct 2010] all released in 2010, along with Drum & Bass/Jungle singles 'Free Society', 'Resonator VIP', and 'Inside The Machine' due for release in early 2011. The future sees a string of new material from Aum including upcoming EP releases and album material already in the works for the coming year, setting out to establish Aum as a name and sound that is here to stay.
