Poster for solo Anna Coddington show, circa 2002

Anna Coddington was the singer and guitarist from Handsome Geoffrey and Duchess. She has sung for The Relaxomatic Project, and has also done backing vocals for Bic Runga (on her Birds album), Anika Moa (Stolen Hill album) and Dimmer (There, My Dear album). Her first solo album, The Lake, was released on 5 June 2008, followed by a second, Cat and Bird, in 2011. She was infamously hit in the face by a beer jug during the Battle of the Bands in 1999.
