After enlisting new drummer, Ben Chapman, following the departure of BJ Hiha (formerly of Pushkin), Watkins renamed the band [[Daisy Chain Halo]]. Several drummer changes occurred after Chapman left the band in 2002, before Luke Hale took up the position until DCH disbanded in 2005. Under the pseudonym of 'Ben Arnold', ''Watkins'' compiled numerous articles and snippets for [[Nexus]] for ''The Citric Column'' and for a short time wrote similar columns for [[Rip it Up]]. He was also editor of [[Nexus]] from 2002 - 2005 and is a founding member and former trustee of the [[Hamilton Live Music Trust]]. Watkins' latest music offering is a collaborative entitled Everlasting Bonfire, which performs sporadically. He is also an avid actor and has performed numerous times in Hamilton theatre productions since 2007, including leading roles in "Dracula", "The History Boys" and "The Last Letter".

Carl Watkins was a member of Wellington band Porch, before moving to Hamilton in 2000 and forming The Crimson Scene. After enlisting new drummer, Ben Chapman, following the departure of BJ Hiha (formerly of Pushkin), Watkins renamed the band Daisy Chain Halo. Several drummer changes occurred after Chapman left the band in 2002, before Luke Hale took up the position until DCH disbanded in 2005. Under the pseudonym of 'Ben Arnold', Watkins compiled numerous articles and snippets for Nexus for The Citric Column and for a short time wrote similar columns for Rip it Up.
