Down Under Bar

Down Under Bar was a venue from the early 1990s. When NZ Post gave up some of its space to develop the old post office in to a mall, there was a small space left over out the back (previously home to the banking business's safe & where the money used to be counted). The bar catered for live original bands as well as metal cover bands.

The space is now utilised by the Casino.
