Waikato Youth Music Association

The Waikato Youth Music Association was created to ensure that young Waikato musicians have an outlet for their talents. Under the umbrella of the WYMA are the Waikato Schools Symphonic Band and the Waikato Youth Symphonic Band. Many of the former members of these bands have gone to play in national and regional Symphony Orchestras or some of New Zealand’s top military bands.
