Void was an all ages, drug and alcohol free venue, located at 651 Victoria St. The venue catered primarily for hardcore bands. The venue opened on 16 January 2010 with a performance including Tentacles of Destruction, Wasteland, Electric Mayhem and Aborted Christians. It was opened by Sam Chumz and Daniel Matthews, who previously ran The Palace on Te Aroha St. It closed in 2013.
