The Edge

The Edge is a radio station that was formed and has broadcast in Hamilton since 1992 on the 97.8FM frequency. The station evolved out of Buzzard 98FM. In 2001 the station moved its base to Auckland, and now broadcasts nationwide. The Edge have organised a number of large mainstream music events in Hamilton, including Summer Jam (2001-2003), Edgefest (2004-2006) and Edgetravaganza (2011).
