'No Thrills'' were a band from St Johns College who won the regional [[Rockquest]] competition, and went on to represent Hamilton at the national 1994 Smokefree [[Rockquest]] final. The band included [[Kristian Nooyen]] and [[Jacob Nooyen]]. They used the imagery of the ''No Frills'' brand in their promotional material, but were described by Rip it Up as "Supergroove wanabees". Performances by the band included the Mountain Rock Festival, Strawberry Fields Festival and Sweetwaters.
