Max Christoffesen was the the manager of Hamiltons student radio station when it switched from Radio Contact on 1440 IXC to Contact 89FM. Under his reign, information services were added such as Job Search, and the Accomodation and Movie guides, which remained a staple until the closedown of the station. Christoffesen acted as a director of Contact 89FM Ltd. in the late 1990's, and made an unsuccessful bid for the station prior to its sale and closure.
