Although short lived, it is notable for being the venue for the first gig by Detroit band ''The White Stripes'' outside of North America. The site is now occupied by Lodge Real Estate.

Mainstreet Rhythm & Blues was a venue in the north of Hamilton at 931 Victoria St, around 2000. The site had previously been occupied for a number of years by the Cask & Grill restaurant. Although short lived, it is notable for being the venue for the first gig by Detroit band The White Stripes outside of North America, in November 2000. The site is now occupied by Lodge Real Estate.
