Significant gigs there included Cold Chisel (25 June 1981), Flowers, who later became Icehouse (2 and 3 July, 1981) and The Angels (23 July 1981). The Swingers also played there on their 'Practical Jokers' tour in 1981. The building also housed a venue called Orange Garden Cabaret for a time, and in 1984 the building became The Riverlea Theatre and Arts Centre.
