DJ Impact
DJ Impact is a DJ for the Villains, and previously the Elite Forces, hip-hop collectives. He was born in Christchurch , but has lived in Hamilton for most of his life. Since entering his first DJ battle in 2005, he has been a two times New Zealand DMC Champion and two times Australasian IDA Vice Champion. He has also been the tour DJ for Scribe. He is currently a host of the hip hop show on Contact FM.
With the "Elite Forces" DJ crew/movement, formed alongside DJs Wil K and Truent, DJ Impact placed thrid in the New Zealand Scratch Champs. He then became the live DJ for "Definite and Bling" for the next two years. In 2008 he won his first title at the "Christ City Scratch Champs", and later on that year he took out the "New Zealand DMC Finals", going onto the World Finals in London to represent New Zealand. In 2009 DJ Impact successfully defended his New Zealand DMC title, making him only one of two DJs in the country to do so. He flew back to London to compete in the "DMC World Finals" for a second time and "DMC World Supremacy Finals", gaining fourth place in the DMC World Finals.
