Zygote Promotions was instigated by Rob Henderson, and was responsible for the release of Hamiltons first CD compilation of Hamilton music, the largely retrospective Discordia Concors. It was formed as an incorporated society, and as such neither the bands nor Henderson made money from the album. Instead, profits were to be used for similar future ventures. Zygote became Fridge Records after this time.
