An asbestos-riddled bar at Te Rapa that offered ridiculously cheap drinks to lure punters out of the CBD.
A free bus was available to pick you up & drop you off at the door. To top it off there was "wicked wednesdays" where the local lasses would perform a "strip tease" & on most other nights there was a covers or original band playing.
The club catered to a more rock/metal clientelle. The bus could not always be counted on to take you home.
Alan Judd was the manager and owner from 1987-1992
