THLF was a departure from luna spark releases, being almost exclusively acoustic guitar and moog synthesizer based, with no bass guitar, and almost no drum machines at all. The album was pieced together in a few months, as opposed to the two years it took for luna spark to complete The Siren.
In July 2007, with the release of Scud Of Freedom, THLF became available to download free of charge.
