The Lookie Loos was formed as a three-piece in 2005, including Tim Steers and Alex Mustard, after meeting at Wintec. Original member Joe Gruber, an American, was forced to leave the band due to being deported. By 2007 Steers and Mustard remained in the band, but had added Daniel Reece (guitar) and William Page (drums) to the lineup. In November 2007 they released an EP titled Timing is Everything, and in October 2009 they released their first album, the Lookie Loos with a gig at Flow. The band played their last gig at Flow on December 17 2009, with Steers moving to Australia.
