The Lookie Loos was formed as a three-piece in 2005, including Tim Steers and Alex Mustard, after meeting at Wintec. Original drummer Joe Gruber, an American, was forced to leave the band due to his Student Visa ending. By 2007 Steers and Mustard remained in the band, but had added Daniel Reese (guitar) and William Page (drums) to the lineup. In November 2007 they released an EP titled Timing is Everything, and in October 2009 they released their first and only album, the Lookie Loos with a gig at Flow. Several months prior to the release of the album, Mustard badly injured his left hand, leading to Adam Page (Sunny Tokyo) playing bass with the band for some time prior to the release; Mustard was able to return to the fold before the release gig. The band played their last gig at Flow on December 17 2009, with Steers moving to Australia. However, a one-off reformation gig was played at Flow in 2011.
