As a member of the greatest Swedish Heavy Metal band in Hamilton, I don't know what you are talking about. Although my Swedish (and part-German) accent doesn't come through in my typed words, I still feel very Swedish. Would you like me to change my "w"s to "v"s to prove it? Lars (Lars) Larsen

Ok, I know Malestrum's history was a little more mundane than they're saying. In the case of an obvious parody group, what do we do? I've made a little section at the bottom explaining the above might not be true, but we haven't done this for any other joke band, have we?

I like the story, and think in context a disclaimer/true version at the bottom would suffice - as long as we list who was in the band and link to their other pages, etc etc. At this stage, I can only remember seeing Malestrum personally once or twice, and think one of either Greg Page or Dean Ballinger, or both, had to be involved. Perhaps Justin Harris too? This is where we need Petra. --Danduran 16:48, 4 June 2007 (BST)

The Maelstrum Story was a large part of the band. Larger than the stuffed sock down Wolfgang Ach's thigh. How about a mention of how uncannily the members resembled other local musicians -- Justin Harris, Rob Talsma, Dean Ballinger, Aaron Watkinson and the other guy (dang, who else was in this unruly Scandinavian rabble? anyone?)
