Advertised as representing Waikato was [[Politicians]], [[Bronx]] and [[Wetbacks]], while ''Pleasure Boys'', ''Martial Law'' and ''Peking Man'' played for Auckland. The gig was organised by ''P.I.U. Productions'', and entry was $7. However, one of the Hamilton bands pulled out and was replaced by [[Stonehenge]].
