''O'Brien'' wrote several of the songs featured in Rocky Horror while living in Hamilton, and has stated "My devious character was certainly formed by the times I had in Hamilton." |
The Embassy Theatre was the home of the ''Late Night Double Feature Picture Show'' and the barber shop where Richard O'Brien cut hair between 1959 to 1964. The statue is a cast bronze sculpture created by Weta Workshop, designed by [[Greg Broadmore]], sculpted by Brigitte Wuest and engineered by Dave Irons. It was unveiled at midnight on Friday 26 November 2004.
