Nodrog

Nodrog was a solo project featuring Gordon Bassett (Nodrog is Gordon backwards). Nodrog made infrequent live performances, usually supporting Gordon's other bands such as The Hollow Grinders. Sets were typically a mix of dreamy indie-pop originals and covers of Yo La Tengo and Velvet Underground songs. Nodrog released a cassette 'UFO's' and the four-song 'How To Hold A Plectrum' EP (Hidden Records 002). He also had a cover of Attack of the Teddy Bears released on the Clean's tribute album, God Save the Clean (Flying Nun CD409), released in 1997, along with contributions on The Fridge, In Love With This Town and Green Eggs and Hamilton.
